• Contact Data: includes email address.
• Message Data: includes pitch decks, project details, or any other information you choose to share with us in the text box of our contact form.
• Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, and operating system (automatically collected by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security purposes).

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use it in the following circumstances:

• To reply to your inquiries: If you pitch a game or request a quote, we use your email to respond to you (Legitimate Interest / Performance of a Contract).
• To send newsletters: If you actively check the consent box to subscribe to our vanguard mailing list, we will send you studio updates (Consent).
• To keep the site secure: Standard technical data is processed to prevent DDoS attacks and spam (Legitimate Interest).

4. Third-Party Services

Because we operate as a lean studio, we use trusted third-party processors to help us manage data. These providers are GDPR compliant:

• Cloudflare: Hosts our website and protects against malicious traffic.
• Formspree: Processes the messages sent through our "Pitch Us" contact form securely.
• Mailchimp / MailerLite: Manages our newsletter subscriptions and email campaigns.

We do not sell your personal data to any third parties. Ever.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use local storage (a modern alternative to cookies) solely to remember your Dark/Light mode preference and your choice regarding the cookie consent banner. This is considered a "strictly necessary" function for the site to display correctly to your preferences.

If we implement tracking analytics (like Google Analytics) in the future, they will remain disabled until you explicitly click "Accept" on our cookie banner.
